The Summer Pastoral Internship has a broad emphasis on pastoral ministry. The role is designed to train and equip seminary students for general pastoral ministry through experiential learning. Consideration will be made for the specific goals and desired learning experiences of the intern.
Interim Pastor/Head of Staff, First Presbyterian Church, New Canaan, Connecticut

New Canaan is a community noted for its strong public schools and bringing in young families. We offer programs that appeal to that demographic. However, FPCNC has many different constituencies within the community and the interim pastor will need to develop a model to attract and encourage new members with particular attention to FPCNC’s projected image in the community.

Senior Pastor: The Presbyterian Church in Westfield, NJ
The Presbyterian Church in Westfield is an inclusive, welcoming community grounded in the Gospel, living out the Christian commission to share the word of God, create new disciples, and serve others. PCW lives out its vision in the form of intellectually challenging and impactful preaching, coupled with small group learning, fellowship, and biblical exploration. Our vibrant youth ministry and youth mission contribute to the reputation of our church as a leader in our community. We have approximately 1,200 members with 300-400 attending weekly services. We have an operating budget of ~$1.5MM (with 4 pastors and a sizable staff). Our church is blessed with an active and engaged congregation and have an endowment of >$10MM.
We are seeking a senior pastor / head of staff to encourage each of us in our relationship with God and lead us by providing vibrant preaching and personal example. The senior pastor’s dedication to serving others will draw the congregants of PCW toward continued and greater opportunities for evangelism, mission, and service.
The senior pastor will be a teacher as well as a leader, supporting the development and growth of adult education programs. Westminster Presbyterian Church has maintained a welcoming presence in downtown Albany for over 150 years. Our diverse and inclusive congregation is strongly committed to the mission of serving Jesus Christ in local and international communities. Located next to the State Capitol, Westminster provides a launching pad for legislative and community activism. The congregation serves the community with ministries for the homeless, elderly and recent immigrants. On the retirement of our beloved pastor of 42 years, we seek an Interim Pastor who can help us maintain and enhance the integrity of our work, witness, and life together.
